No other words but wow... My husband took me on a surprise weekend away for my birthday and I was not disappointed.

Set amongst the sugar cane fields in the middle of no where. The rooms are beautifully decorated to suit the outdoors, gorgeous out door shower, clean and private... Just perfect for couples.

My only problem is that it's self catering but insufficient utilities are in the chalet and restaurant food wasn't exactly top notch, I would recommend take outs. Mosquito repellant is a must

Will definitely return

This is an amazing space for travellers looking for peace and quiet in magnificent surroundings, close to the beach and a little out of the way from the hussle and bussle of the city! The chalets and accommodation is first class. The only critique I can give is the restaurant needs more attention, I would love to see fresh produce served, my fish was rubbery which leads me to believe it was frozen before hand (like out of an I&J box), I booked in advance before arriving. We had lunch with friends and enjoyed drinks around the pool, but I don't enjoy chasing the waitress/manageress for more drinks. We also had to wait around for someone to greet us when we first arrived.

Room tip: Nothing has been spared when it comes to a bit of rustic luxury

A breathtaking venue, set in the most beautiful garden surroundings, and top class, luxurious accommodation! The Chantilly team, led by Greg and Michelle, have a magic touch that ensures an all-round experience beyond expectation. Our biggest heartfelt gratitude to this amazing team for ensuring that our wedding weekend was 110% perfect - we could not have asked for any better! Keep up the great work!

We recently stayed for two days at Chantilly and the location is lovely, very relaxing with beautiful gardens, peacocks and a lovely cat called Biscuit. The manager was very helpful and even took us into Stranger to get something for my partner and then to have a drink at another location. The accomodation was good and the breakfasts excellent all served by two lovely ladies from Zimbabwe. The only downside was that we arrived before it was fully open so were the only guests and the bar and restaurant were closed so had to drive to Zinkwazi for dinner.

WOW! With a Capital W! This is a MUST and a place everyone should see. Going to the sea and want some comfort and luxury then this is the place to book. They have different rooms, each one private and beautiful and Tranquil, Unit 3 with Soft and Tranquil décor. Not all rooms have Four poster beds. The Rooms has big beds, kitchen, and bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and outdoor shower. It is truly lovely and so quiet and beautiful. No TV's which makes it a real Tranquil stay. Outside they have lounger chairs overlooking the huge trees and a braai area. The main lodge has a bar and restaurant and a lovely kitchen where you can cook meals and keep your food in the fridge if your room's fridge is full.
You can take walks and overlook the lovely pond and beautiful photo opportunities.
The service is friendly and if you need anything they will help. Its a lovely 7-9km walk to the beach, Zinkwazi beach and close to some shops and only 50km from Durban. This is a hidden gem and one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited.
A room with luxury, incredible old Chinese closet, kitchen with everything you need and the most amazing ambiance at night with the lights on from outside.
Lazy days in the lounge chairs, a braai on your private patio and peaceful nights and very romantic.
Our highlight was coming back from a day on the beach and taking a shower outside with the fresh breeze on your body and taking in all the fresh air.
They also have a shuttle service available to take you to the beach and back.

Room tip: Unit 3 is incredibly Romantic with Four Poster bed, as well as unit 2 and 6
