Phil and Sue are wonderful hosts that make you feel like you are staying at your parents house. And what a house it is - built on a charming farmhouse with exotic birds that come visit you while you're enjoying a fantastic home cooked country breakfast, and a well maintained garden that Phil is always working on. The rooms are comfortable and cosy, with access to the verandah if you'd like to eat al fresco, and lots of privacy.
Sue can give you a lot of advice on the variety of activities around Wilderness or further up the Garden Route, should you desire, but if you're eager to just relax, you'll find the Country House to be a perfect respite, and their delightful pets, Tessa and Misty will eagerly keep you comfortable.
No matter whether you are a family or couple, Phil and Sue have been serving guests for over 20 years here, and I guarantee you'll be well looked after. Just delightful!
My wife and I had a wonderful time staying here and I strongly recommend you do the same if you are in the area - I know I will the next (and every) time I'm passing through Wilderness! Thanks again, Phil and Sue!More
