Absolutely fantastic!

I am not going to write a long review but please believe me when I say that this place is a real gem, especially if you want a quiet peaceful breakaway with beautiful scenery. And even better if you are a keen fly fisherman. The place is surreal and the facilities immaculate.

Landscape is breathtaking. The unit had everything we needed and beautifully decorated. Plenty of wood supplied for the fireplace. Comfortable beds. Beautiful views from the unit and braai area. Very friendly hosts.

Its difficult to pin point the highlights of our stay. The scenery was breath taking, the cottage was beautiful. Jack gives an excellent educational talk about trout and the hatchery. Tash spoilt us with trout pate and home made bread. The workers on the farm are friendly and kept our cottage spotless. In an unsafe world, it is such a relief to stay in a place that is so safe. The restsurants we were referred to were of the best quality. 10 days of soul searching and total relaxation. We were even blessed with snow on the Lesotho mountains! A holiday to remember, and a destination we will certainly return to.

We stayed at the Otter Lodge. The accommodation was spotlessly clean throughout. The view from our cottage was simply stunning and so so peaceful. The views of water and mountains directly in front of the property are to die for. A visit to the Trout Hatchery with Wolf was one of the highlights of our stay. Highly recommended.

This is such a special place to visit and stay over...let alone a premier wild trout fishing venue. It should actually be kept a secret! Beautiful. Very warm welcome from Natasha...and the staff who arrived with warm freshly baked farm bread and smoked trout pate. What a lovely treat.
