What a great B & B! Ideally located for an easy walk to very good restaurants. A very warm welcome when you arrive & such pretty & comfortable accommodation. Great breakfast with friendly service & a wonderful social area around the pool. Thoroughly recommend it!

We have been in Durban for a compromise, my wife wanted to walk in the Drakensberge, me not, so we made a nice tour by car to the Ukhahlamba-Drakensberg Park UNESCO. Durban itself we only know from Umhlanga part, we were close to the sea and lighthouse with a long promenade, for me totally boring and unintersting; my wife had a little walk, I sat at the beach side cafe, nothing for adventurers. Much more interesting was the nearby Big Fish Restaurant with very good food. The english couple were very nice and talkative, we loved them, the room was very well equiped, air con, fan, fridge, good WiFi, whatever you need. The parking place was a little small but only because one cowboy with a truck-sized „car“ needed all space, this guy would have fun to park in Munich.

From the moment we arrived to the time we left our stay was super extraordinary the location was great the room was clean and very comfy breakfast was great and the staff were excellent i will most definitely go back

We stayed one night for the second time and it was another lovely stay. This time we were in unit 1 and it was a quiet corner of the property. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We didn't have a problem with parking like last time as we didn't go out again after checking in so we were in a good parking spot. It's value for money too. We would gladly stay here again and again as we regularly go to Durban for business and prefer staying over in Umhlanga.
This small guesthouse is delightful. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and individual. Close to the beach area and restaurants. Honour bar in comfortable seating area...No complaints at all.
