after a great gamedrive which waas unfortunately very cold and windy we were really looking for hot shower. Unfortunately neither that evening nor the next morning was the warm water switched on. It is a nice place to stay but not in a cold spring night/morning.
This gave us a wonderful safari experience, with easy tours into the nearby Hluhluwe park. There were animals all around the the buffet dinners were especially good. Great staff and friendly service too.

Hope I will be back next year and see all your nice people again. Especially thanks to Ayanda of reservations and Alan, the best guide doing the game drives.
Everything about Ubizane Zululand Tree Lodge was fantastic. We were incredibly warmly received by Lungalo who was just amazingly friendly bubbly and welcoming. The place is gorgeous all round. Most notable was the myriad of buck and zebra grazing outside the restaurant and amidst the tree houses without a care in the world. The chalets were large, airy, spacey and comfortable. The shower was beautifully hot and everything was well catered for. The food was definitely a winner, even the vegetarian offerings which were generous and tasty. The service all round was a pleasure. Sithembile was amazing and her attention to great service was evident. The wildlife was out if this world. The crocodiles were charming, lazy and relaxed which added to the all round chilled feeling at Ubizane. Well worth another visit.
We only stay here as a one night stop ( a very nice one night stop) so didimt participate in any game drives but found our accommodation lovely. The staff were gorgeous and food good. They even went out of their way to accomodate our food intolerances. Would have been nice to stay longer and have a game drive or two but we had time constraints.
