If you're into seafood especially prawns this is the place for you. Their dishes are a bit pricey but they are worth it, the queen prawns are juicy and cooked to perfection and with the peri peri sauce they are heavenly

This has to be the friendliest restaurant I've been in with waiters who will make you laugh and smile. The dining is very relaxed and has a casual feel but the food is awesome. I watched the chef working and he was amazing. The attention to detail was very obvious. The food was delicious and and as a vegetarian i was pleasantly suprised by the veggie food on offer. Delicious with lovely spices.

Casual dining with amazing peri peri chicken. We love Portuguese food and are patrons of Mozambik both the Umhlanga and Durban branch. We had great service and great dining.

Highly recommended.

What a wonderful little slice of Mozambique right here in the heart of Durban. The decor and setting settles on you as the first round of Dois M's arrive. The food is authentic from Portuguese stock like Chorizo, trinchado etc but the rest of the menu stays true to the local interpretations. I had a piece of chilly, lime and coconut drizzled hake but the espetada, peri peri chicken and seafood was equally delicious.
The Florida rd. vibe provides a good all round bug thankfully it is slightly tucked away directly off the street. They didn't accept Diners Club card which was a bit annoying but the manager Thabang promptly made up for it by giving us s bottle of their serious peri peri sauce. Top class.
The little packet of warm nuts upon arrival is another authentic touch of Africa!

Firstly, just walking into the restaurant and looking at the deco was amazing!! I went in with my family for dinner and our experience was awesome, from the ambiance to the great service received. We were waited on like kings and queens really... only later on did I realize that I had spoken to the owner who is the epitomy of great service and walks around asking patrons if everything is okay and does so with such charisma and charm. The food was beautifully prepared and the preparation time was not long and even it were, we would have been happy to wait for it. This was one of the best eat-outs we had in our holiday to South Africa... authentic too.
