this is just an indoor market you can find in any local town.. with the exception you can buy some very nice looking and smelling spices... however..... it is in the middle of a no go zone if you are not local or armed. it is next to the slums of durban. as soon as you walk out of the building you need to be careful and have your wits about you. ensure you have a taxi waiting. this should not be in the top 100 things to do around Durban let alone top 30. I think we were lucky to get away with watches wallets and phones with us. it is not worth the risk to your personal safety.

A piece of India in Africa, most sellers do high pressure selling, that you have to get used to, and learn to barter. Most tours will take you here. Just keep your wits about you, and go in large parties.
