I made an enquiry with this lodge some days ago and I kept changing e-mails with Nelvia, on of their staff. Althoug providing her with my documents as a guarantee to secure the booking (since I'm a foreigner traveller and they are not able even to charge my credit card for a deposit!!i in which century do they live?), at the last minute nelvia made up a rule saying that they don't allow people, who will pay upon arrival, to arrive later than 4 pm at the lodge and, therefore would cancel my booking AT THE LAST MINUTE, when I have already lost my time and made an effort to try to fit a transportation to there in my budget and schedule, showing, from her part, a total lack of commitment and respectful towards their customers!
Besides that, when she first answered my enquiry, she told me that the price was higher that the one stated on their website (which I realized after the enquiry), showing once again that they don't respect customers or prices announced and are greedy!
When I complaint, Nelvia told me that will give me the price stated and after some more e-mails, where I asked her things about arrangements to get there, she, like mentioned above, decided to cancel my booking. After complaining about her lack of commitment and how difficult it is to travel within South Africa, she wished me a blessed journey in my life (????), but I don't think she really meant that and told me that life is too short to worry about small stuff, which means that, maybe for her, RESPECT is SMALL STUFF, but for me IT IS NOT. Respect commitment with other people, specially customers (because you depend in them to survive as a business), is BIG STUFF!
So, I think this attitude shows a little bit of the lodge and my recommendation is to not rely on them!
One last thing I want to add is that, although saying to me that they had an available room, they answered me on safarinow, that they didn't.
