We decided to have Brunch at Anna's with some friends. The food was great and service not too shabby either, however, the timing was a problem. The kitchen closed for breakfast whilst we were enjoying our meal and was told, sorry you cannot order from the kitchen. This is bad and we really think that Anna's management should consider keeping the kitchen for breakfast open till at least 11h30/12h00 since this is generally a good time (10 - 12h00) when people enjoy "brunch". The alternative would be to tell people arriving at 10h00 that time is not on their side and advise them of the imminent closure of the kitchen. That way nobody can be dissapointed.

A year ago I was very disappointed in almost everything at Anna's Kitchen (poor service, wrong order, etc. etc.) with my last three visits to Anna's it was a wonderful surprise to experience the excellent service and quality of food and value. 300% improvement - thank you Anna's. Anna's remains my favourite place to meet with friends - best atmosphere in the Vaal.

We went as a group of friends for a quite evening! Half way through our meal the staff packing up the tables around us and putting the chairs upside down on the tables next to us. The one waiter made a comment to our waiter telling him not to bring us the dessert menu they wanted to go home, this was just after 8pm. The manager was also unavailable to raise our unhappiness. This week we wanted to go for a romantic dinner for our wedding anniversary just to find they not open, second year in a row!

Haven’t been to Anna’s Kitchen since February of this year and decided to stop for lunch on my way back to Johannesburg. Again all expectations exceeded. Superb variety of food on offer during their Sunday lunch carvery. Stunning setting, excellent food, fantastic waiters. Keep it up team!

It was my wife's birthday dinner and this restaurant produced wonderful food and a great atmosphere. The food was very tasty and delicious. I had the mussel pot for starters, my wife the haloumi cheese. Great food. We both had meat for mains. Dessert were presented beautifully. We will come again.
