Facinating place, especially for our overseas visitors who love the starry night sky, the Italian vibe and good restaurants. There are cinemas (even a big screen cinema), three theatres - one huge for big shows such as Lord of the Dance, and two more intimate theatres for dramas etc. We like to have an early dinner, watch a show or go to the movies, maybe a coffee or drink afterwards. But the best for me, is the the book shop, Skoobs. Wonderful name. Fabulous shop. Sit and have a coffee or an alcoholic drink, whilst reviewing the latest books. And there's also gambling, in which I do not partake, but friends do. There's a games room for kids and a room to leave the little ones, who are supervised. Ooh and there's also a comedy theatre which houses our local commedians. And shops. And a wonderful Christmassy atmosphere come December. Safe parking at R10 fixed charge and a note to say "Don't forget to switch on your lights" when you leave. I think - if there isn't there ought to be!
