A modern hotel with a chic trendy feel.We enjoyed our stay.
The service at check in was an absolute disaster,we had to wait almost 2 hours because our room was not ready on arrival after 2 in the afternoon.The staff at reception was not capable of handling the situation professionally they were either rude or ran away instead of referring us to the lounge available for guests having to wait for this specific purpose. A manager eventually arrived who offered drinks and snacks!The situation at reception almost ruined our stay.We were not the only people treated like this.Unfortunate indeed.
The room,with a balcony,was comfortable,clean and well equipped.The bathroom very small and not private at all.Might be difficult to share if not a couple.
Breakfast was ordinary hotel fare to be expected,nothing special.The service slow or non-existant.Overall enjoyable breakfast.
The hotel is exceptional for the reason that it is shaped to create an open feel,living outside,the lounges,bar,dining room and other areas lead outward towards the pool the outside sitting areas and a vast beautiful garden.I really enjoyed this atmosphere created.This feature is the reason for this hotel being so special.I would stay again and recommend this hotel to anyone.

We've spent 2 nights in the Maslow hotel in November. The facilities were ok but service was horrible. We prepaid our holidays directly with sun international in Mauritius so as to be hassle free. We booked 2 communicating rooms. We reached their at 10 pm and were informed that they could not offer the 2 communicating rooms. Our 8 yr old kid would have to sleep 2 storeys higher ( which we did not accept of course). We ended sleeping 3 people in a queen size bed. When we booked, we were also offered a R 1000 gift to spend at Sandton Mall which we were to redeem at the Maslow reception. When we asked them at Maslow, it was refused as this was only for your second stay in the hotel. For these 2 incidents, we requested a refund. They told us they would contact their colleague and get back to us. We are now 8 weeks later and still no news from them. Sun international service is weakening seriously. Be careful: they sell items to you, take your money, then deny the service on the D day. Be very careful with sun

The hotel is strategically located. They have a complimentary shuttle to the centre. It is packed with good facilities (swimming pool, outdoor pool, spa, sauna and fitness centre). The restaurant is quite good also.

Seemed Excellent to me.
Unfortunately I had only one night here so I couldn't really exploit the facilities (spa, gym...) but the rooms are beautiful, very nice bath room also. Breakfast is great, but The food of room service is average though.

Spent 12 nights with my family. The service was so bad even though the hotel was not that full. Our rooms were never replenished with the basics and the staff could not cope with the breakfast service.
