Driving down the small lane to the resort entrance you are immediately disconnected from the hustle and bustle of city life. Segaia is located just outside of Pretoria and can be reached in less than an hours drive. Be cautious though when travelling from the freeway up to the main road turn-off as the road is a noted high accident zone.
Entering the premises of the resort, you are met by the beaming smile of Shepperd, the supervisor/caretaker. He will gladly assist with any queries or requests you might have as he directs you to your accommodation for your stay.
The grounds and gardens are very neat and well kept. The accommodation interiors are very unique and suitably equipped with all the amenities to ensure an enjoyable stay.
The majority of accommodation units overlook a small pond where animals gather to quench their thirst. Numerous bird species can be seen in the vast number of trees and shrubs.
This was our 2nd visit to the Segaia, the first was during June 2015 and we can gladly acknowledge that the high standard expected by the owners is still held. Definitely looking forward to visiting again! Highly recommended!More
