We enjoyed our dinner together at this fine establishment. The sushi buffet is an excellent choice and went down very well. The service is pretty good too, better than expected for an Asian restaurant. We had a romantic date night accompanied by an enjoyable meal. The chicken kebabs (teriyaki I think) are really good too.

Love the sushi there. No question. But it used to be very good value for money. Prices have increased significantly and they increase quite (too) frequently. If that trend continue I'm not sure it will remain good value for long.

Lots and lots of sushi on the buffet menu. What is nice you can have selected items from the starter menu as well. BESt of BOTH on a budget. The strawberry "sushi" with honey is to die for! A pity only one plate is allowed.

Dumplings are the reason I come to Yamazaki. 3 are fried and served with chilli ginger sauce at R24. Kung Fu kitchen beats their price for 11 dumplings for under R40...BUT they are boiled. I like both so visit both restaurants. The chicken corn soup was disappointing, cold at first and a bit sour on the tongue. They have a salmon rose option without the avo (hana) making it alot more affordable. Will go back for dumplings and hana
