Always good to see a new Greek restaurant. Authentic Greek food true to tradition. We had the yiros with fillet and chicken. Very good value for money.

Really enjoyed the Moussaka and Galaktoboureko. The Greek coffee was also great. When you see two old greek gents enjoying the food and coffee, you know it will be great.

Since the last review (in February 2018) have twice been to this restaurant and will go again! The starter and main dish were as reviewed before - the Spanakopita and the skinny lamb chops - the food could not be faulted. For dessert the Galaktoboureka (phyllo served warm, filled with custard and topped with syrup) was ordered and what a delight! Also, once again the Pavlova did not disappoint. There are some other Greek restaurants around, but make the effort to go to Nikos and you should not be disappointed!!

Having walked past a couple of times, we decided to try out Nikos.
Our experience at other Greek restaurants has not been that great.

Sunday lunchtime, middle of the month, and they were probably 80% full. Not a bad sign.

Our waiter was Thabani, very good service.

Wife decided on skinny Pork Chops 250gr with chips (R89.00)
It looked good and she seemed happy with the choice.
I decided on Chicken Souvlaki 2 skewers (R110.00) with chips and a mint dip.
Also looked good and tasted good.
The chicken was dry (chicken is always dry) and with the dry chips, the mint dip was just not quite enough.
With this I ordered a bottle of Du Toitskloof Sauv Blank (R119.00) to wash it down.

Would we go back? Yes.
