Bad service (negligent waiter, forgotten starter order, boiling hot red wine & waiting 15min to get ice & icebucket, side orders 10min after mains arrived) & average food (chateubriand cooked instead of grilled).
Drove all the way from Jo'burg after reading the reviews... What a dissapointment!

Good day. I am sorry you did not enjoy your meal. The whole centre was battling with an out of order cooling tower, and we were unable to keep our wine cellar at temperture. I apologise sincerely for the negligent service however and there is no excuse for that. Our fillet Ritrovo is not a chateaubriand in the traditional sense. It is thrice cooked - first seared, then breaded with a herb and mustard crust and then finished in the oven with bearnaise. It is our signature dish and we have sold many thousands each year. I am sorry you did not enjoy it but that is the way we prepare it and have done since 1994 when we launched it. It is also our best selling dish, so we think that our clients enjoy our twist on a whole fillet. I again apologise for the sub par service. Kind regards Forti.

We had a superb lunch at Forti. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious choices and some daily specials. Between the three of us we had the calamari, lamb chops and lamb rump special. They were all exceptional and we came away feeling very satisfied.
The wine menu was extensive.

We had a Great time with colleagues at this Restaurant.The warm welcome felt like they knew us ,very impressive.Elvis was good; patient and highly kind.Everyone there is helpful and warm,the excellent Restaurant set up ,well prepared and delicious food and just a lot of positive atmosphere.Loved the place🙂
Food is great, waiters pay attention and always ready to recommend something better than what you have ordered but I got disappointed at the end when the manager sent one of the waiters to ask if we were done eating so we can pay and open a table for other people... Very disappointed.
We took 3 course dinner, food was really good and portions were generous
I would recommend to try this course dinner, try drinks outside before heading for dinner
