Starters, main course and dessert was amazing. Our waiter, Wilson, made our first dining experience there unforgettable. We will definitely go back and hope to see Wilson's friendly face again ☺

Very disappointed after previously enjoying dining out at the new restaurant. Inconsistent, excellent one day and very poor the next. The problem is you pay good money every time. I guess the chef had a bad night. So few options in Pretoria, now I have one less. Waiters and managers while incredibly friendly and hospitable wear masks covering their chins, doesn’t make one feel very comfortable or respected while seated, even when vaccinated.

We had our anniversary dinner at the restaurant on 10 Sep 2021.
The restaurant was extremely noisy, with no background music
My husband sirloin had more tendon than meat, and my daughter's ribs was undercooked. I had the prawns which was very lovely.
Bread served before dinner was amazing with the herb butter.
The chef should just be more attentive to the quality of food going out of the kitchen. Will not revisit.

We are a very busy restaurant so unfortunately there is not much I can do about the noise. During load shedding unfortunately our music cannot play due to only lights and computers being linked to the emergency circuits. I have subsequently fixed this. Unfortunately load shedding is a huge strain on our business and we are unable to use most of our ovens. This is not an excuse for poor food however and I am very sorry. We were under huge pressure in the kitchen as it was very busy and only half our equipment was working all of a sudden. Please excuse this blip in our normal service. Kind Regards Fortunato Mazzone
As always, family has been been following Fortunato and his father from Ritrovo, Biccs, to Forti Bar & Grill ..to Forti Too! The fantastic food and wine, the atmosphere, the hospitality and genuine love and passion for what him and his team does is unmatched!

The location is great and the waiters are friendly but the only good thing about the menu is that it makes you time travel , back to the 90’s ! Really disappointing!
More correctly we have been in business since the 1970’s. Rather proud of that actually. And the classic dishes on our menu endure along with our specials that change daily. Authenticity should never be confused with the fact I do not put splodges of foam and gel on my plates. And never will. Perhaps that is why we remain even during lockdown one of the busiest restaurants in South Africa. And not only survive in the current maelstrom but prosper. And support and pay out staff in full. Your comment is disengenous and frankly uncalled for in a time when we are leading the way in the industry in how to survive COVID and look after your staff ethically. Perhaps you should look less at blobs of foam and more at whether the attitude of the restaurant is in keeping with contemporary trends.
