Very good Dosa's prepared in the heart of Joburg's indian community. The Dosas are good (crispy and the masala is just right) however the idli was hard and tasteless.

Whatever you eat here you must have a Dosa- the Masala dosa is a staple and a meal on its own.

Every meal here is great - the food is prepared in the open and it's a clean restaurant.

Try the Breyani, Mutton Curry and their sweet lassi is great.

The more I eat here the more great dishes you discobet

The Dosa has been renovated over the last year and it's a nice place to eat tasty South Indian cuisine.

The menu is varied, interesting, fresh and tasty. We tried the vegetable Dosa. A Coriander Lamb curry and Chicken cubes that were all excellent. The price of the food was reasonable and service was also good.

4/5

Stopped here with my partner while we we checking out Fordsburg market area. I had the masala dosa and it was delicious and really flavoursome. My partner had chicken biryani which was not so good. As the restaurant is Dosa Hut will definitely stick to that the next time we are back.

We ate Dosa's at the Dosa Hut - paneer, cheese and onion and butter. The cheapest is R46.00 and you get three lovely sauces to go with. The lassie's were very good too. All in all for lunch for three people it was R250 excluding tip. The service is swift and friendly and their make over lifts the shop. Don't eat in the booths as you get wedged in there - a table allows you to stretch out a bit
