This is probably One of the most beautiful boutique hotels I’ve ever been. It’s Very stylish with stunning designs and lots of character.
I stayed in the Acacia Suite which had a tub and a balcony.
I took an Uber from the airport and it was about 30 minutes ride. The neighborhood seems to be residential. Very clean and quiet (not much to do around, but i took Ubers everyone).
For breakfast I had to choose from the menu and they served it to me to the dinning room.
I didn’t see any other guest
1. They hosted someone’s bday party while I was there so I couldn’t have dinner in the dinning room and the music was playing until midnight . No told me this was happening or apologized for that in advance . So it was quite frustrating knowing that i needed to wake up early for a flight.
2. I wish they gave me some guidelines about the hotel (breakfast time, how to order it, pool time opening / closing/ etc....)
3. Very few outlets in the room. Was challenging to find one to charge.
4. Couldn’t switch on the a/c so it got very warm at night.
Despite the neg, if I ever come back to Johannesburg, I’d probably give the Munro boutique hotel another chance.
