The atmosphere is cosy. The hospitality welcoming, comforting, entertaining and full on! The food is NOT run of the mill Italian and we have stopped looking at the menu. Despite being busy (testament to their enduring good quality) the owner/chef and her 'front of house' Mom will take time to suggest dishes and variations on what they make dependent on one's mood and gustation choice. We agree with the Newsweek choice some years ago of naming this lil gem of a restaurant as one of the special ones to get international acclaim.
