We’ve had an amazing trip with Mo!! We even had a private tour, due to low season. That felt already really special. We learned a LOT about the events around apartheid and of course the life of Nelson Mandela. Heavy information, but really good to know how it affected the lives of the people living in Johannesburg and Soweto. And how it still affects them. Thanks a lot to Mo for sharing some personal information about his life. We saw all sides of Johannesburg and Soweto, and we felt very safe at all times as well. Would definitely recommend when visiting Johannesburg!

Great tour guide--on time, safe driving, good info. The timing for the day was perfect--not too rushed, not too long. We felt we had good time to see/do what we had wanted.

We did a tour with our guide Mr. MO. he was a wonderful knowledge bank. Everything was explained in detail upto the point. His main priority was our safety. The driving was very safe and the vehicle was comfortable. It is a very professional service. We highly recommend Stephenson Adventures to any visitor, who visit South Africa.

We went into this tour with very minimal expectations and we came back amazingly impressed with everything we saw and learned with our guide Mo. He was very knowledgeable, fun, and kind and we appreciate his honesty and how open he was about sharing his story with us. He said at the beginning of the tour; “I’ll show you the good, the bad, and the ugly” and he delivered. Do yourself a favor and take this tour!

We loved it. Bothongo rhino and lion is perfect for family with young kids. We traveled with our two daughters of 1 and 3 years old. The park has a lot of facilities, big playgrounds with swimming pool, snake show... It is easy to spot animals and we can be very close to Lions and Rhinos. We saw a Rhino mum with her baby. We stayed 5 nights in a Log Cabin with a jacuzzi and it was perfect. We loved it soon much.

We can recommend 100% but it's good to know that you shouldn't expect a great hospitality service. It seems that the management is not focused on hospitality. The staff is not very helpful and does not explain what is open/ close, a must do... So you will see a lot of restaurants close. (they say because of load shedding but we believe it's more for other reasons). The weekends is more busy. The food was not great except at Neck and Deck restaurant. Everything closes at 4pm even the restaurants and coffee so plan to have your groceries done of you stay long.

Don't expect great service of hospitality, just enjoy the wildlife and the facilities when they are open and you will have a wonderful stay.
