Small plates, tapas style. Very tasty and unique dishes. Great for a group or couples. Service was attentive

Tucked away in the heart of the Johannesburg inner city is the Mad Giant beer and ale brewery - Here we enjoyed a pint of cold beer and several bites of delicious cuisine - urbanologi is a must - give it a go
We booked for a Monday night - never a great night for restaurants. In fact, we were surprised they were open. I think this would be a great place when it is busier.
While I appreciate the concept around the idea of sharing smaller platters and the like, the portions really were tiny. They might want to consider offering some complementary starch to go with the dishes - rice, pap? Having said that the food was delicious, and the desserts were wonderful. Not so keen on the craft beer - but even this was better than SAB!
My overall recommendation would be "go - but don't go hungry!"
Really a nice restaurant with amazing food, we ordered a few dishes from the menu and every single dish was amazing. Friendly staff and an amazing vibe. Really worth the visit
