We loved Shamwari! The animas, the staff (especially Shawn) and the food. Our Bayethe Lodge was a small house with a large sitting area and a plunge pool. We will definitely be back! I recommend it to everyone.

We had 3 nights at the Explorer Camp at Shamwari and it was the most brilliant experience ever. Our rangers were most professional and bursting with enthusiasm and information. We saw so many animals and birds and always felt safe when doing the walks. Our chefs prepared delicious food, presented beautifully and all cooked over the open fire. The camp manager ensured we were comfortable; always there to welcome us back with a smile and a refresher and even providing hot water bottles!! I would recommend this 100%

Accommodations were luxurious. The Ranger was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. So fun viewing the animals up close in their natural habitat. I can’t tell you when I’ve had so much fun. Just spectacular.

I cannot praise Shamwari enough. Absolutely incredible experience! Our ranger Raymond Simmons was the most knowledgeable ranger we have ever had the pleasure of spending time with. The food, service, attention to detail was off the charts! This was certainly an experience we will keep in our hearts ! Thank you Shamwari

My wife and I stayed at Sindile Lodge for five days in mid August. I cannot praise Shamwari and all the staff enough - we had a marvelous time and every aspect of our stay surpassed our high expectations. The pick-ups worked like clockwork; all the staff were very friendly, courtious and nothing was too much trouble for them; the food was exceptional, with something for every taste; Sindile is beautiful and in a marvelous location for viewing the reserve and the animals it contains; our accommodation was wonderful, it may look tented, but it is very private, much more spacious than it looks in the brochures, and well equipped with everything you need for a luxurious holiday; all the rangers were friendly and accommodating and Siya, our ranger, was incredible, every game drive was interesting and informative, he took us out twice every day and was happy to start before dusk and stay out until after dark; finally, we saw a huge variety of animals and birds on our drives, almost all very close to the truck! If you are considering taking a holiday to Shamwari, don't hasitate, book it immediately and enjoy the holiday of a lifetime.
