We had the most amazing time. Fantastic accommodation, food, and game drives. Our Ranger Mino was exceptional. We saw everything during our 4 game drives plus a night drive. We also visited the born free foundation.

We could not have wished for a better experience at Shamwari - and it was thanks to our two rangers Westley and Dylan. We learned continuously from their vast knowledge during game drives and at meals, but foremost they shared their PASSION for the animals with us.
I'm glad we chose Explorer Camp as it includes bush walks. Approaching rhinos, lions and a cheetah on foot were unforgettable experiences.

We rented out the entire Eagles Crag Lodge for a three day extended family adventure. We had four absolutely fantastic rangers namely Jan, Jéan, Leon and Frans. They were able to immerse us into the remarkable animal universe at Shamwari. The upgraded and newly renovated Lodge and facilities were spectacular and the service, perfectly coordinated and guided by lodge manager Marilie, was world class personalized friendliness making everyone feel at home or better in paradise. Thanks for the treasure chest of unforgettable memories. We surely will be back.

We only had 2 days here on our first (and probably only) safari experience, but it was a truly unforgettable experience. The ranger was very knowledgeable, the animals were abundant and the game drives were amazing.

The most incredible 2 days at the Sarili Lodge. Ranger Jan provided the most wonderful safari experience to us and our 2 teenagers. We were privileged to see unbelievable Game but his knowledge of the Bush and the landscape is immense! The suite we stayed in was the best room we’ve ever had with unobstructed views of the Bush. We were treated like royalty by Lize-Marie, Steph and all the staff at Sarili. Shout out to the gorgeous Siya - no request was too much trouble and every meal was sublime. We rolled out of there but will be back!
