We have stayed here 4 times over the past six months. Each time, without fail the staff has gone above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and relaxing.

Each room is set up with great care and quality, they make other guesthouses feel cheap and dingy. Breakfast is always great and has a good selection. Oh and an espresso machine in every room! What?

The neighborhood parrots and dogs can be annoying... but that is the only downside.

Beautiful rooms, with big shower and bath big enough for two people. Friendly staff. Easy to find from the high way. Lovely breakfast, and caters for everyone's taste. However, parking is in open and not secure.

When we arrived we couldn't believe how lucky we were at finding such a gem. I can't understand anyone complaining about the small stuff like one coffee per customer in each room -for the price we paid we were expecting nothing!! They offered to do our laundry...for free!!! The bed was super comfortable, and the room was big and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was big and I enjoyed the best shower from our month-long trip in SA in this bathroom -excellent water pressure, plenty of hot water. Breakfast was served fast and had delicious offerings all cooked to our needs (vegetarian). The house is beautiful and the owners have paid attention to every detail creating a relaxing atmosphere. This is by far one of the most tastefully decorated guest houses we have booked. The house is set in a quiet and safe neighborhood outside the city. A short walk will take you to the beach. We had no trouble finding the B&B using our GPS. Do not hesitate, this is the place to stay at while in Port Elizabeth!

Room Tip: Our room in the first floor. Seems like the rooms on the upper floor might have an ocean view.

We had a nice stay for business at NAutilus. Rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated. The owner kept phoning us after 9pm when we weren't there yet, even after checking in which wasn't great at all.

This is a beautiful guesthouse with everything going for it. It is clean, has large rooms, there are large comfy beds, a well appointed bathroom, and rooms have many useful features. You are close enough to the beach to walk, and it is a nice beach. Good restaurants are a 10 - 15 minute drive into town, and the local ones about 5 minutes but only cheap eats. The parking is outside the property, so not secure; but there is little that can be done about that. There are a couple things that disappoint and take the edge of what could be an excellent rating, and these could be easily addressed. One coffee pod per person in the room, and one in your cup at breakfast, does feel a bit like rationing; placing a few in a basket by the coffee machines would break the bank. There is a lovely communal lounge, where residents could meet, but is closed at 20.00 hours. Overall this is a good value B&B, verging on boutique.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front have nice views.
