We were blown away with this hotel. The decor is stunning and amazingly clean.Staff were 5 star and could not help us enough and smiles all the time.
Perfect location with breakfast looking out over the infinity pool and ocean.
Breakfasts were amazing and our evening meal stunning.
There are 2 restuarants on the beach which the hotel will collect you from on an evening.
If you want luxury book this hotel .

Lovely location with attentive staff. Our room was a good size with great views out to sea.
The tiles on the shower floor were slippery when wet and soapy.
We ate in the restaurant and had a decent meal with wine at a reasonable price. \the service was excellent. Breakfast was buffet and table service and did not disappoint.

This was truly our all time favourite holiday; it was an amazing stay in so many ways. The team are highly professional and charming, making you feel instantly welcome and relaxed.
The restaurant is fabulous as are the wines to accompany the delicious meals...starting off with drinks at the bar with its beautiful soothing decor and music. The bar team of Honest, Armstrong, Bongi and Siphelele made us feel so welcome that we didn't really want to go anywhere else.
Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the most stunning views is totally breath-taking and so I did include a glass of 'bubbles' to savour this 'experience' every morning.
After breakfast was the perfect time meander on down to the beach to take our walk; this is truly quite something. A beautiful expanse of beach and sea with the occasional pod of dolphins to be seen.
This hotel is an absolute MUST to stay in...and you will go back. We certainly will be and now booking for next January 2024.
A massive thanks to the management and their team: Melissa, Wiida, Maria, Porche, Diana, Letitia to name just a few...your professionalism and service was next to none.
We have stayed in many fabulous hotels around the world but The Plettenberg is at the top of our list!

Room tip: Sea-facing room a must... so as to catch a pod of dolphins swimming by and probably whales too, in the right season.

Absolutely fabulous hotel with the staff being so friendly and helpful. Room was well equipped , serviced in the morning and again in the evening. Perhaps the staff are over attentive at times but it's something we are not used to.
Food was excellent at all times.

Can't fault this hotel and will return if back in Plettenberg bay

Room tip: Higher floor for better views

Arrived to a warm greeting from the Restaurant Manager. Lovely drinks served by Honest. Our table had the most stunning view and our meal was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Our waitress Thumi was so focussed on ensuring we had a wonderful experience. Thank you Wilda to you and all your team.
See you next year.
