We visited The Plettenberg as part of our honeymoon in South Africa and it was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, we had a beautiful room overlooking the ocean and the food was incredible. The French toast at breakfast was superb and the Mermaid's Dream cocktails are a must try!

We visited the Plettenberg Hotel while on honeymoon and it has left a lasting impression for us since. The staff were so welcoming and always very helpful and polite. Our room was immaculate and the view over the bay was spectacular. Would highly recommend a visit for somebody doing the garden route.

We arrived and were greeted by a vibrant welcoming front desk and outstanding panoramic sea views from the restuarant . All the managers are eager to help and are excited to recommend places to go on Plett. The hotel is very peaceful and serene with beautiful sea gulls having a drink on the edge of the infinity pool . The breakfast is perfectly presented and they had a lovely menu for our son who was eager to try something new each day. Including pan cakes, french toast, waffles :)

When I walked into our "Beach House", I was shocked by how perfectly clean and well looked after the property is. There was not a thing out of place. We had our own heated pool and the house faces perfectly over the sea and gets amazing morning and afternoon sun. Light and bright with hints of blue throughout. My son was super surprised by his huge king bed with massive TV with all the channels he enjoys. He had special kids bubble bath, shower gel and he had his own little gown with a welcome bag. Of course, I enjoyed my Morton Brown products which smell lovely.

We loved the top heated pool which had views surrounding the bay. The conceirge/duty manager was really sweet, gave my son goggles for the pool and a bucket and spade when we walked down to the beach.

I think the most memorable thing for me was how happy everyone is. From the security to the general manager. It felt like home to us!
