Spent 4 nights over Easter in the annexe section of the hotel - our room was lovely, well appointed, spacious and spotlessly clean as it was serviced twice daily. The mini bar was replenished daily too and with the turn down service in the evening, a bottle of mineral water placed on the bedside table as well as something sweet. The hotel's location could not be more perfect with most rooms having sea views and within walking distance of the town, beach and Look Out deck. Breakfast served on the sea-facing patio when the weather is fine - delicious - continental breakfast buffet with a hot breakfast which you order from the menu. Just a couple of negatives - service levels in the restaurant were not always 5 star, neither was the mineral water served in plastic bottles - glass bottles would have been far more elegant on the tables. There is a beautiful bar but the ambience was spoilt by the deafening sound of the electric blender used for mixing cocktails - surely this should be done away from the bar? All in all though, I would have no problem whatsoever in recommending the hotel and we will definitely return sometime soon.

Dear AliceCapeTown

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us.

I am delighted to read that you have enjoyed your stay with us. It is always lovely to receive feedback. All feedback is very important to us. It enables to us to look at areas where we can improve.

Our location is prime. It is situated on the cliffs of Look Out Rocks and overlooks two beautiful beaches. This small little town on the Garden Route is a little beauty. It has developed a lot over the years. We are very proud of our product and it is a beacon in town.

All the areas of concerned will be looked at and discussed with the various Head of Departments. We will address it and work on resolving it as soon as possible.

I hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back to The Plettenberg.

Kind regards
MJ and the team

Stayed here for three days in February and loved it! The room was lovely and spacious and very large bathroom. The food was very good and the hotel felt very cosy and friendly.
I really loved the design of the hotel and the interior which was fresh and light and welcoming.
It was wonderful to be able to walk to the beach which is huge I n under 5 minutes and the centre of town is walking distance too. The pool area is not very big but feels very special and very private.
The area is beautiful with lots of different walks along the coast and a great restaurant overlooking the beach just a few minutes away. I would definitely return to enjoy The Plettemberg and would recommend it highly.

I am delighted to read that you have enjoyed your stay with us. We strive to deliver great service to all of our guest. At the same time we want to create a unique experience for all our guests. Our little jewel is a treat and has the best views in Plettenberg Bay. It overlooks two pristine beaches, Central Beach and Look Out Beach. The Main Street is a short walk and it boasts other great restaurants and small little boutiques. Every guest of ours should enjoy the pool area, if the sun is out.

I hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back to the hotel.

Stunning hotel, very homely feel - rooms are big & spacious with beautiful furniture. Food is fantastic with so many options on the menu. The hotel restaurant has an amazing view of the beach & it was a treat sitting out in the sun in the morning overlooking the ocean & sipping on some tea - very peaceful! Staff are lovely and go over and above to cater to your every need. Cannot be faulted!

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in early March this year for the first time. It was not long enough and we will return next year. We stayed in the annex across from the main hotel. The room had a wonderful view of the beaches a few minutes walk from the hotel.
The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful and professional. I recommend the restaurant.
The hotel is located a few minutes away from to the centre of Plettenberg and a short taxi ride away from an alternative range of facilities.

Stayed here for three nights, it wasn't long enough! Great location and views with restaurants and coffee shops just a few (hilly) minutes away. You can walk for miles in the beach, clamber over rocks, or just sit at the lovely pool enjoying the view. Staff were lovely, room service twice per day would definitely stay there again.
