Description: The only Boutique Wine Estate Restaurant slap bang in the middle of The Garden Route! Enjoy an afternoon of locally produced handcrafted wines and our award winning fine bubbly, tapas , cheeses, meats, pates and more all served with freshly baked homemade breads and polished off with a decadent dessert. We now have a new picnic area and you can see elephants roaming, bookings essential. We love to serve food that is seasonal and that reflects our local farmers in the area. Set in the beautiful Bramon vineyards and overlooking the Tsitsikamma mountains and The Elephant Sanctuary. Everything we do is guided by our vision that homemade and fresh produce is always better. In Preparing our dishes we are making sure we use as much of our local produce as possible.

We visited Bramon regularly in the past but this was our first visit since the new owners took over.

Bramon has a policy where bookings are made in 2 hour time slots. When making our booking we were told that only inside tables were available. We would have preferred to sit outside in the vineyard. On our arrival at 11:00 for the 11:00 to 13:00 time slot we noticed that all of the outside tables were open. On our second request we were allowed to move to one of the vacant vineyard tables.

It is clear that a lot of effort is still put in but the attention to detail and the quality of the products are not as before.

The home-baked bread used to be soft and fresh and one of my favourite items. On this occasion the bread was tough and stale.

The grilled parmesan in the salad was thick and clumpy. This used to be thin and crispy. The lettuce in the salad was brown on the edges.

Two of the plates our food was served in were chipped. At that price i expect more.

Many years, numerous lunches, never a bad meal! Great ambience and service with a smile. We always return (even if it is with our own table, chairs and flowers).

What an incredible lunch accompanied by a stunning vineyard setting !! We were a big family table of 12 and Bramon took care of us without any flaws ! The service was top notch, sensational and extremely tasty food that we could not stop ordering !! The farm house bread was a joy to eat and the the crispy calamari danced on our taste-buds for hours !!!
Thank you for a wonderful lunch - we’ll certainly be back !!!

Nice place to have a lunch with family !
Also toilet for the mom with kids available.
We had nice lunch with small different tapas.
We will say that mussels are number 1, also carpaccio and Camembert were fabulous.
As well we enjoyed wine tasting, which cost by the way just R10/ glass.

Winery with a view - great place to enjoy great wines with good food , sitting outside in between the growing wine gives a unique atmosphere - they have long tables , so it is an awesome place to bring family and friends to share a perfect day or hosting a special event - don’t miss it when you are travelling in SA🇿🇦🥂
