It is not very often that you find true luxury in a guest house but at 8A, you experience it from the entrance to your room and to the most delicious omelette you can have in Grahamstown.
I loved the rooms and the view looking of the city.
This place is worth another visit soon!

We stayed here for one night with friends. We had both the rooms left and right from the patio. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Our room had an entry area with sittingarea and a fireplace. The bedroom was very big and had a wonderfull view towards the mountain and the pool.
The breakfast was okay, but nothing more. The variation of fruit and cereals was just basic, we had much better in SA. Our friends room was next to the kitchen and just a door between. So in the morning when the staff started sleep was over because of the constantly chatting.

We stayed here for 2 nights, wished it was longer. Located in a quiet cup de sac but close to SAC and DSG , the rooms are spacious, the curtains substantial and very thick, the beds are extremely comfortable; you just sink into them, shower hot and strong, bookings quick and efficient. If I had any complaint, it would be that I couldn't work out how to use the coffee machine (that did produce the perfect cup) and there were no staff to ask at 7am. Maybe they could put instructions somewhere. I will definitely stay here again. For just a couple of hundred rand more per night, the difference is worlds apart. Fabulous fabulous fabulous. I had a brilliant nights sleep.

Room Tip: I was upstairs (entry level from the road) in a suite at the front (Room1) and it was truly lovely with a stunning outlook and access to the veranda with its very comfy sofa's.

We love staying at 8A St Aiden's. Lovely view with generous sized rooms. So beautifully decorated and furnished. Thank you so much for making our stay in Grahamstown feel like a home away from home. See you in again in January.
