The house is in a quiet part of town and has been maintined to a high standard. Our room was wood panelled, of a good size, and with views on to the garden. The owners are very helpful. Breakfast was very good, with quality ingredients, although the cooked breakfast might be slightly more generous.

A most welcoming and comfortable place ro stay

Room Tip: Garden view

We stayed here one night only, unfortunately, en route from Umtata to garden/wine route. Very comfortable, well appointed and scrupulously clean. Kerry, our host in Sally's absence, was welcoming and chatty. Breakfast was lovely with good range of hot and cold dishes served in beautiful dining room adorned with interesting art work and furniture. Highly recommend this establishment if you're in Grahamstown. Excellent

We loved this Guest House. It has everything a traveler requires available. Rooms were well appointed and the heated towel rails were a definite plus. Tea and coffee facility was great and we loved the fact that we were given a jug of fresh milk rather than the usual long life tiny options available in most bed and breakfasts. We were meeting someone for breakfast so unfortunately did not experience the breakfast.

Room Tip: Our room was lovely but looked onto the back of the main house. Garden could be seen but was limited.

We had a magnificent stay at this guest house. Oscar and the team could not do enough for us, even giving us a quick tour round this historic town AND taking us to, and collecting us from a restaurant in town. The room was beautiful, clean, wanted for nothing and was quiet. The breakfasts were delicious. The dogs were also a delight! Very highly recommended.

Modern and luxurious despite the age of the house. The room faced the grand front garden and was nice and private. There's a nice pool. The room was very well appointed and had everything you could hope for, except a safe for valuables (which may have been somewhere I didn't see), but I didn't feel I had to lock anything away here anyway. There were ample quantities of complimentary toiletries and nice fluffy towels. Breakfast was very tasty and it was an altogether pleasant stay, except for the pillows. They could do with an upgrade. The guesthouse is located in a lovely area close to the private schools and it was nice to walk in the neighbourhood too. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Room Tip: They all seem very nice, although the ones opening up on to the front garden are more private than the ones that face the breakfast room.
