Stayed twice on visits to Grahamstown - just overnight, but a good relaxing stay. The rooms are furnished as if they were spare rooms in someone's (comfortable) home and the house is full of good furnishings and furniture. Breakfast (cooked to order) is served at a communal dining table in the house.

We have stayed at St. Aidan's on a number of occasions, most recently in October. The facilities are excellent (including wifi for anyone needing it), the rooms and beds are comfortable and the hosts are charming and helpful. We would not think of staying anywhere else.

We were delighted to hear that a new guest house had opened- 7 years ago- as we have been visiting Grahamstown for 10 years now visiting our four children at boarding school. We always have a perfect stay at St Aidan's and enjoy the friendly hospitality. Breakfasts are delicious, rooms are well-appointed and the staff are friendly, without being intrusive. We even celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday at St Aidan's with a casual braai, and had a wonderful evening. Robyn ensured that we felt completely at home, as always. St Aidan's is truly the best B&B in Grahamstown, and you can't beat the location.

Our group had a waterpolo tour in grahamstown and we booked a "group" accomodation at st aidans. A really great stay. Very clean and suited our needs exactly. It had a central entertaining area and ample rooms that were fully equippped. We had a lovely swimming pool and braai. Breakfast was great and the staff friendly. I would recommend. Speak to Robin - she is great !!!

Room Tip: If you a group ask for the hill street house

St Aidan's is like arriving at home! It always has attentive, friendly service, delicious breakfasts and the rooms are luxurious with comfy beds and crisp percale linen. Robyn finds ways to make you feel special and nothing is ever too much trouble for her.
The best is that we do not have to go out to restaurants because guests can request to use the kitchen to cook their own meals or they can order a delicious meal which the chef cooks and serves in the comfort of the Guest House. What a win! Another advantage is that Sunday check-out is flexible. Most of the rooms look onto vistas of the prize-winning garden and two look a view of the cathedral and church spires of Grahamstown. It is within walking distance of most school functions as well as the main shopping precincts.
