Well-equipped, clean and tastefully appointed accommodation. Very good value for money. Although only bed and breakfast offered, good restaurants are within safe and short walking distance. The venue also provides safe parking behind locked gates.

This was my first time in Grahamstown in 20 years and I can’t believe how outstanding The Milner accommodations are. The room and bathroom were astonishing in its size and design. The public rooms were delightful, the garden with its swings and pool an absolute highlight and the service top notch. I own guest houses in southwestern France and would recommend all my guests head to Grahamstown for just this reason! Well done to the entire owner, designer and service team at The Milner. It’s the only place I’ll stay in Grahamstown.

Hi, thanks for a lovely stay. The venue is beautifully decorated and maintained, the service great.
The only small thing I would comment on was the breakfast presentation - I ordered bacon and French toast, and this was served with no garnish or sprinkle etc. Just the toast and the bacon on top. The taste was delicious, but the presentation very basic and not visually enticing.

a very neat "old colonial" feel. great gardens with lots of trees. the rooms are a treat with high ceilings and the bathroom was bigger than most hotel rooms. the staff were friendly and eager to help. spent 2 nights and wish I could have been there longer. will definitely stay there again on my next visit .
