Very friendly owner, great service. World famous cheescake (ok, at least Cook Island famous) and the curry was excellent. They have a private gazebo that you can reserve to eat your meal in as well. The grounds were imaculate and you could tell that they take pride in the landscaping. No hesitation, go visit! TIP: Limited hours so check before you go.

Went through the gardens, which were nice and decided to try the cheesecake, as I'd heard it was good and they advertise it as the best on the island.
The cheesecake itself was delicious, but for what we got i think $16 is very much overpriced for a small piece of cheesecake with a lot of fruit from their garden. The coconut wasn't freshly cut as it was quite hard to eat, having eaten a lot of it while on the island we got use to the softness of freshly cut coconut.
The woman that served us was quite pushy, and looked like she had just come from the garden, not dressed like she should be in a cafe. She was telling us we needed at least 2 plates as there were 3 of us it wouldn't go far, which was true, but at the price we weren't going to buy 2. she then asked if we wanted drinks, we said no as we had water with us but went on about the smoothies and so decided to order one so she would go away! The smoothie came with a bamboo straw, which made it taste like dirt, when we drunk it without the straw it tasted a lot different and it was ok.
I wouldn't go back to the cafe again, it was overpriced and not great service.

We had driven past the gardens a few times and noticed the sign for the Hidden Spirit Cafe which sounded so nice, unfortunately it didn’t live up to its name, the food was mediocre at bet, the service, slap dash and the food very expensive for what was dished up, the saving grace were the gardens, absolutely beautiful, worth the small donation to enter, forget the cafe except for a cold drink or a quick mediocre coffee, the gardens are spectacular, very small, you can see the entire garden in 10 minutes, but WOW, so beautiful

If you love flowers and gardens this is your place. They have a cafe too but unfortunately don’t do barrister coffee and I can only do soy or rice milk. Nice place to chill out though.
