Very fine dinning, very good food, good ambience. Fine atention. But also an expensive place.
I also like the area where it's located.
Con: Not much parking area.

We came for an event to rate the best burgers on the country, but instead we were received by an attentive waiter and a heartwarming service. The hamburguer blew all our expectations, from the mushroom sauce, the burguer Patty, even the size it had, was cooked perfectly and remained juicy all the way through. Between two Brioche buns and accompanied with crispy curly fries. Really, it was the whole package, food and service. Would recommend any day.

Went there again for a business lunch with 5 persons.
Had the salmon tartar as a starter- nicely done, but not a wow.
Main was mixed seafood in tomato sauce, that I have eaten in various restaurants around here. It came out top on price but not on taste.

In honor of the Soccer World Championship with Costa Rica playing Switzerland, they had a Swiss and a Costa Rican specialty as recommendation.

Some in our group had the Zürcher Geschnetzeltes with Rösti, which is essentially veal escalope in a creamy mushroom sauce with a Swiss style hash-brown. While nice, this was not impressive or had any wow factor.
The dessert, a Schwarzwälder Kirsch (cake with dark biscuit, cream and cherry) was a bit off the original version and did not overwhelm. Yes I know, because I come from there.

With over 5.000 colones for a piece, this was also completely overpriced.

I remember being more impressed with flavors and food at previous visits, so this was a bit of a let-down and not the culinary art you expect and pay for.

Hands down this was the best food we had in Costa Rica. We ate here when we arrived in San Jose, then returned 10 days later on our way home. The level of service was impeccable; we felt attended to extremely well. The food was great, and the attention to detail amazing. By example, we received small plates of sorbet to cleanse our palate after appetizers and before the main course. The tropical curry shrimp was absolutely superb. beef dishes were also great.
