We enjoyed staying at this hotel immensely. The rooms had little things that make a huge difference on the comfort scale. The staff was friendly, polite, and helpful. We really enjoyed the monkeys that came down into the garden by the pool. The hotel is within walking distance to the marina (we watched the Super Bowl). It is also within walking distance to restaurants and stores. Parking is provided, though we found it to be a bit of a challenge. Overall you could tell the hotel was run very efficiently, and we would stay there again.

Booked for my husband and son while I was on the opposite edge of town doing volunteer work. They enjoyed the seclusion and quiet compared to the bustle of the town and it was right on the bus line to Manuel Antonio park and major restaurants. From one side of town to the other taxi drivers charged 1-2 MIL which is less than $4, but from there to the marina would only be one (and it is walking distance).
The doors closed loudly and windows in bathroom did not seal properly for the A/C. The room was clean and linens provided. Tiny soaps and shampoos. There were barking dogs behind the room.
The grounds are quiet, pool area an oasis of quiet, and the helpful staff speaks German, English, and Spanish. Breakfast spread is of a European style but there is plenty of fruit and yogurt to accompany cold cuts and eggs. A troop of monkeys usually come through during breakfast, jumping from tree to tree, hanging off the roof and drain pipes, running around the pool, and scaring the bats out from underneath the palm trees.

Room Tip: Balcony is best for viewing monkeys!

This hotel was on the bus route to Manuel Antonio so good location (315 colones in Feb. 2018). Small pool but clean and well kept. They had a very cheap honesty bar. and a good breakfast. Scarlet macaws flew overhead.

I enjoyed the healthy breakfast with a large serving of yoghurt, muesli, fruit and juice. Very filling. The grounds were very quiet and relaxing. Staff were helpful in showing us how the safe worked. Spacious room with chairs on our balcony to relax.

Very easy to get to Manuel Antonio national park from here. Nice room, breakfast buffet was fine. Having now stayed in several hotels this breakfast was one of the better ones.
Beer, soft drinks and bottled water sold on an honesty box system. There is a pool which was very refreshing to relax in after a hot afternoon at the park and beach. Easy to walk into town and find restaurants
