We enjoyed 5 days of absolute peace with nature and the animals. It was the perfect get-away from the hustle and bustle of life. The rooms were private and the service was excellent. Manny, our waiter made our stay very special when he suggested we stay to witness the breathtaking sunset. Our concierge, Orlando, went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed the best of Costa Rica.

Thank you Penny for your great review and for staying with us at the Tulemar Resort. Yes a sunset at the Tule Café is simply not to be missed; it's the best sunset spot in Manuel Antonio. Orlando always goes above and beyond and we are very lucky to have him! Thanks again and Pura Vida, Chris

Without a doubt, the Buena Vista Villas at Tulemare Manuel Antonio are the best. From the point of reservation, you feel well taken care of and appreciated. Our superb concierge, Alex, contacted us ahead of our visit to check in and see what special needs or events may be a part of our stay. We were greeted as soon as we arrived (after a long and circuitous route from Guanacaste) by Alex whose friendly and efficient manner immediately made us feel welcome. From that point on, Alex
along with Manny and Daniella in the restaurant and our frequent shuttle
Driver, Luis, took good care of our every need. Their friendly attitudes make you feel so welcome at this special place. Many thanks to all and especially our concierge, Alex, for a perfect experience!

Visited Buena Vista with my girlfriend in May 2016 and had an absolutely amazing stay.

We stayed in the Jungle House which is newly built and had a small private pool right outside it. The room itself was very clean with A/C and all the comforts you would find in an upscale hotel in the U.S.

Buena Vista's private beach was fantastic. During our stay there were never more than a handful of other individuals on the beach. There are also kayaks and boogie boards available free of charge as well as many seating options. The only downfall of the beach is that it made us regret spending a day hiking through the crowds at the National Park (I would personally say that the beach at Buena Vista was much nicer than the National Park. The fact that they have towels and chairs and the ability to order drinks only made it that much better).

While the rooms and beach at Buena Vista are amazing, it was the employees that truly helped make our stay unforgettable. It was evident that everyone cared about making our stay as great as possible. Each room is assigned a private concierge - we were fortunate to have the experience of working with Alex. Due to the fact that we missed him at check in and because we weren't in the room when he called, he met us at the beach when his co-workers informed him that we were there. Alex helped us arrange anything and everything including excursions, dinner reservations (with recommendations), transportation, etc. and even had great tips on places to see after we left Buena Vista. When the forecast called for rain during our sloth tour, he came to the beach to let us know so we could go earlier in the day and not miss it during our stay. All of the other staff members were fantastic as well. David who worked on the beach was incredibly friendly, ran to help us after we flipped our kayak and even offered to take pictures for us without our asking. Roger also gave us a gerat nature tour where we easily saw 15-20 sloths and quite a few other animals (compared to 1 sloth that we spotted at the National Park).

There are countless other positive things to say about Buena Vista. The best advice I have is to book your room early as the place is that great. We ended up flipping our itinerary around (originally planned on visiting Arenal then Manuel Antonio) as our desired room at Buena Vista was booked for the other dates. Changing our plans to make sure we could stay here was the best travel planning decision we made - Buena Vista was definitely a highlight of our trip!

ChiHoosier317 Thank you for your great review and for choosing to stay with us... As Jungle House is one of our newest units I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it. Very private with it's own splash pool; Jungle House is quite the spot within Tulemar Gardens! Glad you enjoyed our service and yes Alex and Roger are two reasons that guests clamor to stay at the Tulemar Resort. Thanks again and Pura Vida! Chris

Bueno Vista Villas is a part of the Tulemar Resort complex. They operate as one when it comes to staff and amenities.

Can't say enough about the amazing staff here. The service is beyond amazing. Our concierge was Alex. Alex helped us with everything we needed while at the resort and setting up everything we did outside of the resort. He gave great recommendations and has a really great knowledge of the surrounding area (Manuel Antonio and Quepos).

We ventured out into the towns each night and some during the days for some off site activities. He made sure we got to do exactly what we wanted to do each time, making for safe transport to all and even making reservations for us. Whether it was something as simple as wanting to get a few beers by the pool or setting up excursions, Alex was always available to answer all our questions and make sure we had everything we needed. Fantastic service and makes you feel like a friend right from the beginning.

The private beach was really nice. The have a shuttle that will pick you up from your room and take you too and from. It's maybe a 2 minute ride but worth it because of the steep decline down and incline back up. Luis was our shuttle driver for pretty much the whole trip. Really friendly and always seemed there to pick you up a minute after you call.

We encountered all types of wildlife while on the resort and especially on the beach. Really cool and much different then any beaches we've been too before. The grounds are amazing from the wildlife, the vegetation, the beach, the pools, couldn't have asked for a better place to call home for a few days.

Although we didn't stay in a villa we want to plan to come back and stay in one with a group of friends and family. They, like everything else were so beautiful. Highly recommend Buena Vista to anyone. Great place for couples, families, singles, anyone just looking for a great time in an amazing place.

Puts Vida!

Thank you J. Campbell, for your great review and stay with us at the Tulemar Resort. Alex's, work with us is fantastic and makes any guest's experience truly Pura Vida! Manuel Antonio/ Quepos is the place where rainforest pushes up against blue ocean! There are so many interesting things to do and place to go, in our little slice of heaven. The most common thing we hear is: "I wish I had more time" Thanks again and Pura Vida, Chris

We booked a villa 306 to be exact. This was the perfect situation for beach view and rainforest experience. We saw monkeys on the patio, iquana's in the trees, McCaws, Sloths, that were fabulous to watch. The room was clean, and we cooked breakfast in our room every day and ate on the patio, perfect experience and I would highly recommend this property overall above anything else we saw in this region. Michael was our concierge and he was FANTASTIC, he saw that all our trips were great, he followed up with us daily asking if we needed anything, he was really on top of everything. He even showed up at 3;00 am to see us off on our departure day. Really impressive. The drivers on the resort were also fabulous and really nice, We were there one week and I would go back annually if I had it my way. Definitely a must stay property.

Room tip: Anywhere you stay on this property will be perfect, it's small enough that everyone gets the best of the best.
