Plenty of room. Very clean. All staff members go above and beyond to accommodate your every need/want. The food was great made to order free breakfast and lunch and dinner at restaurant available. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The pool clean and very relaxing.

I have to say I was not impressed with this place, but my family LOVED it! We had a very spacious suitet with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. It is all metal roofing and we were on the 2nd floor, so when it rained, it was so loud that we couldn't even talk. Also, there were open spaces where the roof met the walls, so there were birds nesting, and LOTS OF BUGS in the room at night. This is the tropics, so maybe that is to be expected, but between bird droppings on the counters and coffee table and the bugs flying around at night, i thought it was less than ideal. The kids and wife were super impressed with the amount of space which is HUGE!
This is definitely not within walking distance of any restaurants. We had a rental car, so no problem for us, but keep in mind you will likely need Taxis for going out. The breakfast was served vs buffet - eggs and rice and beans or eggs and pancakes and bacon. All came with fresh fruit juice or coffee and a fruit plate. It was more than adequate, just not as good as other breakfasts we had enjoyed in Costa Rica.
The pool was great, and clean. It is around 5 ft deep all around with a place to sit on the sides. If you have younger kids (as we do) you must have noodles or something for them as there is no where to "rest" if they get tired other than on the stairs getting into the pool since they can't touch at all. There were a couple of noodles there, but I feel like they were just left by previous guests, not really "provided".

First of all the hotel is a little bit hard to find, second the good thing is that this place is very close to the national park. If you don't have a rental car .you need a taxi cause walking uphill to find restaurants it's a hard up hill walk. The hotel it looks like it can use a hand to make property look newer again. The rooms are spacious but kind of old specially the restroom needs a hand old ,and no hair dryer .also it seems this place wants to save money ..cause they keep the tv and air condition control..if you don't ask for it they will have it in the lobby. Also the lady who check me in had and attitude like ,,get in and get out..not friendly at all. The rooms are painted white the matress sits on a concrete made matress. And the since all is white you can see the previous sweat dirty spots on paint..also the towels for shower are old old old..and the sheets have old pee, yellow stains ..like I said place is spacious but ..this is not for me.. breakfast is not ok..found small hairs on my plate twice and the bacon is super burn ..like reheat over and over.

This place is quiet and tucked off the main road so it was quiet and peaceful! It is a ways from restaurants so without car it is a hike. We wouldn't have minded the walk to places but it poured the night we were there so we just stayed in. With that being said we really enjoyed the bar and the food they served! Food and drinks from scratch! Hand formed burgers, fresh salsa made to order! You must try the margaritas!!!! Actually the bar and food the most enjoyable part!!!! The pool was relaxing even in the rain! It's an outdoor pool but very warm and relaxing!

The drive from San Jose was easy and the resort wasn't too difficult to find. Check-in was fast and efficient. The staff was bilingual. We rented unit #9 a spacious 2 bedroom unit. It was huge: over 1700 square feet. The decor was understated. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful dining area, 2 good size bedrooms and a HUGE bathroom. There were front and rear decks. The rear deck had a beautiful hammock on one end and a nice dining area on the other. From this deck you could see the ocean. The front deck overlooks the pool and restaurant. The only negative which we overlooked was that the main room A/C definitely needs to be recharged.

The pool was amazing. The water warm. Be careful if you have children it is a deep pool with almost no shallow end. Complimentary breakfast was wonderful. The food was hearty and freshly cooked. You had 4 major choices. Great deal.

You can arrange tours from the office. We scheduled two and both were worth every penny.

Don't overlook this beautiful little gem. We will be back.
