20$ per person but worth it! Pretty decent hike! Definitely need good shoes and take the walking sticks they offer. I wouldn’t take my young kids but my teens could do it! It’s totally worth the view and up close view of the waterfall. Bring water and a snack to take a break before you head back up. It was pretty shaded and not to hot but we we started around 8 am and finished up around 11.

Perfect hike for the average/above average hiker. It has its challenges but it is do-able. We loved it so much we went twice. It does cost $20 per person to enter but I completely thought it was worth it. Spent 2.5 hours the first time as we swam and enjoyed the views but we got down and back up in 1.5 hours the second go. Would recommend to those with good mobility.

Well, we didn't saw it. while we got there. It is private territory and that made entrance of $20 just for path to the waterfalls. As many national parks in costa Rica cost less than that we were quite dissapointed. There are also amount of waterfalls in Costa Rica you can see for free or much less. So, we decided not to go

We were 3 good friends that made this hike together right after some big storms had hit Costa Rica late 2018 so the trails were washed out a little, but some locals were working hard to get everything back to good shape again which wasn't a small task.

We did the hike in great speed around 45 minutes both ways I believe, a bit too fast out for one of us that felt it quite good. So my reccomendation is to pace yourself as especially back out it is a lot of uphill and the heat and humidity can take it's toll.
Wear good footwear and bring water and sunscreen, the water is very cold and refreshing in rainy season, so we are going back soon to do another hike.
