We ate at many great restaurants during our week on the Caribbean side, and this one takes the cake. My lobster was cooked perfectly, and the kid's meals were standouts and kept this from being a budget buster. But what really made this our favorite restaurants were the side dishes: the patacones were 10x better than everywhere else we tried them. They were crispy on the outside and moist and flavorful on the inside- not dense and hard like in most places. And the rice and beans were moist and rich and flavorful. We wish we had discovered this place earlier on the trip, so we could have enjoyed it twice.
