My group of friends and I decided to stop for a quick snack. And we just kept going back!
Gia, the owner, had such a friendly, warm, and welcoming spirit. We would’ve gone back for her alone, but the food being excellent helped!
We tried everything from the bruschetta, to the waffles, to the sandwiches. Everything was absolutely delightful. The homemade bread? Absolutely amazing. We’d even stop by for just a glass of wine after a beach day.
Cannot recommend Buon Appetito enough!

Incredible fresh home made food, an incredible woman owner, and really respectful prices considering everything in Tamarindo is sooo overpriced.

My boyfriend and I returned to this spot everyday, either for an iced coffee in the morning and/ or a delicious fresh lunch. Can we talk about the homemade bread? loved everything about this place including the most lovely owner who gave us tips on some tips on secret beaches and things to check out while in Guanacaste.

Welcomed immediately by owner. Was very excited to see us and is passionate about her food and restaurant. Sandwiches and pizza are excellent, well priced and feel like they are made with care. Felt good to support this little local place. Not as fancy as the ones along the beach but we needed a reasonable lunch and this fit the bill. Would strongly suggest stopping here. talked to a local that goes there most days for an excellent, cheap and filling breakfast. Let the owner know what you think of your meal. She cares and is a pleasure to speak to.

Wonderful food, service and experience. Do yourself a favor and enjoy this place! The owner has an infectious spirit which will leave you happier than you entered!

This turned out to be our favorite place to eat in Tamarindo. Food is really good. Food is reasonably priced. The Italian owner make sure the service it great.
