My experience at the El Dorado was very very good. I got along right away with the two managers of the hostel, two Italians that are very kind, welcoming and big heart people! They are always available to help anybody out, and they would let you know all the best deals you can find in town. They are very honest and they make everything to make your staying as good as possible! The hostel is nice, little and cheerful. Is close by to supermarket and to the beach, and just few step away from the centre of the village. Also, the staff organize dinner every night, which is a good occasion to socialize and eat local at the same time. Very good staying, I totally recommend it!

Room Tip: For just few dollars more you can have a private room that can keep up to three people!

Loved my stay at this hostel, the owners didn't speak much English however they were very friendly, put fresh mango's on the table for us everyday. The hostel/bathroom/kitchen was always very clean and tidy. The rooms had fans which worked well, wasn't too hot for sleeping. The beach is a 3min walk, very good location.

Couldn't ask for more from this place for the price. Centrally located, very clean rooms, super friendly staff and a private room with private bath room for less than $40/night is exactly what we are looking for. Thank you!

This hostel is super nice!
Close to the beach, the supermarket and the center of the city.
Stefano and Daniela, the hostel managers, where always kind and ready to give you advices about what to do during the day or where to go and how.
Also, if you stay with them you get some discounts for surf lessons and bike rental sometimes.
Nice stay!

Stefano and Daniela, operate a clean and friendly hostel with lots of hot water, only a block from shopping, several from restaurants, and a five minute walk, use the short cut not the main roads, to the beach. Stephano's jazz and light blues music in the morning was great. Note: the three suites with private baths, while you do have your own private bath, they are several steps down the hall, and not as the information states, an ensuite. Not a criticism just an observation. The El Dorado was a nice place to stay.
