Having recently stayed at Kokoro I would be wary of the recently posted positive reviews. As witness to the resort as a guest, I found the hot springs and every aspect of the guest rooms to be in very poor condition. The hot springs and private guest rooms are in need of a complete tear down. The view from the reception is the only attractive aspect of the resort.
Stayed here for 9 nights and loved the relaxation! Wonderful hot mineral springs on the property. Amazing property with jungle trails that are rich with wildlife. This is a bird watching paradise with many frogs as well. Sloths can be seen from the hot springs! Very nice restaurant on-site. Nice staff that were very helpful. It is close to other hot spring resorts including Eco Termales which is splendid. Also, incredible views of the volcano. Such a pleasant and relaxing place!!!

Cabanas are spacious with comfortable beds and strong air conditioning. They pump the thermal waters from 300 feet below ground into three different temperature pools. Food in the restaurant was very good - breakfast was a can’t miss - fresh juices fruit, eggs, rice and beans - big selection. Close to La Fortuna but far enough away to like you are in tropical setting. Would highly recommend!
The BEST hotel we stayed at! Absolutely magical! The hot springs, volcano view, pool, sloths in the trees, the unbelievably lovely staff, the amazing large birds wandering around the grounds! Really the most fabulous hotel and excellent buffet breakfast. We loved every minute-thank you so much!
Offered good value for money, with friendly servers, a small pool, and private hot springs. The hot springs had three tiers all with different levels of temperature. I loved the separate cabins to add to privacy and get us closer to nature. Due to the timing (rained the entire time) we didn't get to see the volcano while in La Fortuna but I am sure the view would have been wonderful.
