I’m a head chef myself, which means I’m a picky customer. Had nothing to complain about. I stopped by at 6 pm when they still had couple of tables available. When you enter the restaurant you pass by the kitchen where you can see chefs at work. I was brought to the table and got the menu. A VERY good thing is that each dish has a picture of it, English translation and a number. You get a piece of paper where you write down the number of the dish and the quantity. Great system because really noone spoke anything but Chinese. There were peanuts on the table and i was asked something i couldn’t understand. Later i figured i was asked if i wanted them cause i found them in the bill for 10 Yuan. Just giving you a thumbs up, i mean it’s not a lot of money but if you don’t want it, just tell them ‘no’ at the beginning. I ordered their signature colored dumplings and salad as a starter. All was very tasty. Dumplings were delight! So if you like Chinese cuisine and are in the area, make sure to stop by. For one beer, a starter, dumplings and peanuts i payed 128 yuan, which is absolutely ok. Just come bit early, when i was leaving at 7 pm restaurant was full and people were waiting outside.

Now a small chain across Singapore..If you like Chinese and dim sum in particular this a must stop. Also not too pricy which is a bonus..My favorite is the multi flavored dim sum collection (see picture)

Went to the IFC Mall in Shanghai (Pudong area) and went lost into one of the passages and there we found Paradise Dynasty! A small/Medium sized restaurant with a nice chinese aura, you can watch the chefs work the food behind a glas.
I would say you order two/theee dishes, dependind on how hungry you are? Each dish are 30-80 CNY many in the lower span. They have a wide range of dishes from dumplings, Szechuan-, to brilliant Lamian (chinese noddle dishes), would really recommend the Prawn Lamian(H11), Stir-Fry Beef(E1) and the Dumplings/Xian-Bao in total! We (6 persons) ate 15 dishes with Coca-cola and Beer and paid around 750 CNY, too much food for us but we wanted to try different flavours. Only negative was slightly slow and non-english speaking staff. But all in all a must if you are close by and hungry!

Situated in the Shanghai Tower this is an attractive restaurant that appears to be quite popular. The food is not bad, but the standard is borderline fastfood. I had the specialy Dynasty "Xiao Long Bao" (small dim sum dumplings with filling and a stock inside). These are excellent if done properly, so I knew their standard from these, 8 different flavoured ones, where only 3 were okay. We also had spring rolls, Pork dumplings with chili viniagrette and Kung Pao Chicken. The KPC was good. Basically, at a pinch this is okay.
