[RW] Being in Alma for the Restaurant Week was a great experience! The menu was very complete and the portions were generous! A great selection of Tapas to start + a main course and 2 desserts, the most generous RW menu I have tried in this week! Starting with the venue, located on the rooftop of Joy City shopping mall, the Ferries Wheel is definitely the main attraction but not a tourist trap ;) nice interior and simple set up get you ready for the food! The only "but" is on the music selection, I would rather avoid Electrolatino Hits and Reggaeton while dining.
Food: the Avocado Gazpacho was good and the Salmon offered a great combination of flavours with the Mascarpone cheese, the Sardines however were overshadowed by the Pineapple that made the dish too sour. Continuing with the Chorizo Explosión, explosive in the mouth, the Codfish donut a different presentation for a cod croquette and our favorite the Spinach-Mushroom Lasagna, simple but delicious. For main course the Turbot was well done and nicely combined with a Green Peas Purée and the French Duck Breast was good although a bit difficult to cut and would have like some more of the Pumpkin sauce, that sauce was good, yeah!
Finally the desserts, both options beautifully presented, the black sesame cookie was ok, but not as good as the Rose Apple Tart with the Vanilla ice cream scoop!
All accompanied by two glasses of Red Wine Sangria for only 38rmb more, nice and good, just like a Sangria.
For sure will come back to try more, with friends, couple or relatives, any occasion is good.
