Hospitality must be owner/innkeeper Jim's middle name. We couldn't have asked for a more congenial host, with helpful tips galore. The home was cozy and charming, with all the comfort one could want, and an absolutely delicious breakfast!

From booking to leave, inn keeper Jim is in touch with you on every step. Local restaurant, attractions information, like visiting a friend, enjoy sitting in the living room quietly, eating hot fresh breakfast Jim prepared in the morning.

We stayed in the Sandpiper Suite for a few days. The room and bathroom are large and nicely decorated. The bathroom has a fridge and microwave. Jim made us a tasty breakfast every day with large portions- especially loved the grits and banana bread. He also surprised us with cookies one night! He was very accommodating with our food requests and cat allergies. If you want to swim, make sure to ask- the pool was closed while we were there. Within walking distance are the governor’s mansion and a couple nice restaurants. You’ll park in front on the street or in the church lot next door.

Jim was so welcoming and hospitable.
We felt really at home and didn't want to leave but sadly we had to hit the road.
His home cooking is better than mine! The omelette was divine and the banana bread delicious. As much coffee as you could manage which was good for us.
We even had a 'goody bag' to help us on our travels and Jim had put huge strawberries and cookies and more of that delicious banana bread in there.
When we stopped for a coffee it went down extremely well.
Oh and the room .... I felt like a princess, it was just so beautiful
We hope your place remains a beautiful B & B forever for future generations to enjoy as we did.
Thank you Jim

We have stayed in many B&Bs and this has to be the best. Jim was the most attentive host ever. Lovely facilities. Wonderful breakfast. Interesting neighborhood. There are good places to eat and drink within walking distance. So there you are, wonderful.
