Location and Ambiance (5/5): Elephant by Naila Bagh is situated at Naila Bagh Palace on Moti Doongri Road in Adarsh Nagar. Extension to Club Naila, Elephant is a multi-cuisine casual dining restaurant cum bar, with a promising ambiance worthy to be called a Romantic and Insta-worthy place. You will get enchanting heritage vibes the moment you enter this place. They have done the makeover of this place beautifully to give the old heritage look, which is beautiful. They have both outdoor (beside pool) and indoor seating with candlelight on every table. They regularly come up with live musical nights where you can have a great time with your better half or friends or family along with amazing food.

I tried the following beverage and food items:

BEVERAGE:

Green Mint: Minty and refreshing 4.5/5
??Guava Mary: Little sourer than expected. 3.5/5
Pink Lady: 4/5
??Blue Sky: 4/5

LIIT (Long Island Ice Tea): Super Strong, as it should be. 5/5 (Recommended)

APPETIZERS:

Dahi Ke Kebab: Little more sweeter than expected. 3.5/5
Corn Cheese Balls: Nicely done. 4/5
Malai Broccoli: Healthy and delicious option. Creamy and Fresh. 5/5 (Recommended)
Dahi Ke Sholey: Not much oily, as they should me and super amazing. 5/5 (Recommended)

MAIN COURSE
Veg. Khazana Handi: 4/5
Paneer Lababdar: 4.5/5
Dal Makhani: 5/5 (Recommended)
Assorted Breads: 4/5

DESSERT:

Service(4/5): Remarkable service by well-trained staff.

Value for Money (4/5): Experiance is worth the price. They also have BOGO offer on some weekdays as well as ladies night where ladies get a complimentary drink.

Will I visit again?
For sure, I would love to go again.

Right from the reception, the place is manned by inhospitable, untrained and hostile staff members. They would not explain anything and will keep chatting and giggling amongst themselves. This is by far The worst captains / managers I have seen ever in a restaurant . To make things uglier, I do not know why has the management planted 4-5 angry bouncers right on the gate. I saw three couples / families leave right from the gate due to the bad behaviour and attitude of these staff members. Go there if you want an ugly and horrible start to your evening.

Based on the setting you would expect the cost and standard to be quite high, whilst the cost was certainly not cheap, our service was actually was poor to the point of amusement.

Waiter messed up our order 3 or 4 times, and of the 10 or so dishes we ordered throughout the meal 4 at least were unavailable (bearing in mind 3 of these were "house specialties" you'd expect them to be the last dish to run out of)

In fairness all the food we DID get was very tasty. But with the poor service; the incredibly loud music (trying to strike a nouveau riche restaurant/club vibe I think); the fact that we couldn't see our menu (emphasis on singular) because it was so dark and the fact that our table was so dusty it may have had time to evolve sentience, it ended up being a pretty average to poor experience.
