The space looks grand and spacious, till you enter the dining hall.
The lighting is so dim, that if you aren't having an overdose of "fair and lovely" you won't see anyone! There is a huge table, for guests, am guessing only when the whole family turns up, would anyone be made to sit there - and as we were - we got the royal treatment!
The morsels are quite small, and it took forever for the food to come. The food was good, but like the name, everything except the taste was grand. I probably am a foodie and a hog, so maybe the place was not for me, but my whole family had a tough time recognizing each other! :) - probably if you don't want to see someone's face but can't help inviting them over, that's a great place to go to!
Too much unnecessary wood veneer used, and somehow is complimented by ghastly red plastic table mats.
Thankfully was not paying the bill, but I felt it was more overly done than it offered.More
