Great shopping and great food. Sombor was my favorite Serbian city. The people are friendly and the city was so clean. I found great deals and enjoyed the entertainment. Hotels are close and can spend days just checking everything out

Sombor is a nice, small city in the north of Serbia. Its main street is wide, calm and very orderly. The walk we had (and have every year) is relaxing and fun. You can grab a beer of a coffe at this street and it will not be too expensive. Kindly recommend,

And naturally we didn't miss the occasion to take a relaxing stroll along
this major pedestrian street in Sombor, called the King Petar Street.
This street stretches from the Square of King Uros all way to the Venac (Crown) of Radomir Putnik. There are a lot of shopping stores, outdoor coffee shops here in Glavnjak as the local people call this street. While we were sitting and drinking our coffees on the very pleasant and sunny day, we looked at the wedding couples and mass of men, women and children, accompanying them along the corso and passing by the street forth and back several times.
