I've been in Huaraz for over a week and we found this place on our first evening here. There was no looking back - we come every afternoon to enjoy the best coffee in the city while listening to amazing music and chatting with the owner, Franco, who's very attentive and friendly.
The atmosphere is excellent and calming, but the food and the coffee are also top notch. My boyfriend and I often order the carrot cake, although their orange cake is also excellent. We have tried espresso, cafe cortado, cappuccino and the mocachino and we loved all of them. The coffee is actually a strong Peruvian one.
We've tried a couple other coffee places around here, but there's no comparison. Blues Cafe is definitely the best one.
