Half-Day Phi Phi Island Deluxe Tour from Phuket

To reach this beach you need to take a boat of some kind which helps keep it from getting too crowded. We rented kayaks for an hour from the beach on Phi Phi and paddled out there which took about 15 minutes. Monkey beach was beautiful with a good view of the rock formations around Phi Phi and there was a family of monkeys playing on the beach while we were there.

Paradise!! Picture worthy, but constant boat traffic, peace is taken away!

No guarantee you will see monkey there but you will give pleasure to your eyes for sure!

Problem is everyone arrives by boats during the day in droves! Get a postcard. The reality will disappoint!

Nice beach with monkeys feeling very free there.
Do not feed them because they can become aggressive and start following for more food.
But you are allowed to give them water.
There are whole families with small baby monkeys.

So we visited monkey beach which is literally 5 minutes from the port of Phi Phi Don ours was included on a boat tour we did very busy lots of tourist on a tiny beach. Great to get close to the monkeys and great pictures. One boy off our boat gave a monkey an open can of cake and she grabbed it and ran up onto a rock where she perched and drank it it was crazy. The monkeys can be quite aggressive so I didn’t touch them just enjoyed watching them. There are big and small monkeys and we saw a newborn clutched to its mother which was really cute.

Recommendation
If I went back I would defiantly hire a long-tail boat to take me there as it really isn’t far from the port and also take lots of bananas to feed them as you can really interact with them when you have food to bribe them with. Also if you want great pictures this is the best way to lure hem onto your body if your brave enough. They will dive into the water to get the food and also if they are in the trees you can throw them food and they will catch it.
